Amy Hunt, 18, made her mark on the sporting scene in the summer of 2019, when she set a new women’s under-18 world record with a time of 22.

42 seconds in the 200m in Mannheim, before finishing the year with two gold medals at the European under-20s tournament. The Nottinghamshire based teenage sprinter, who's hoping to follow in the footsteps of Dina Asher-Smith, finished in third place in the women's 100m at the British Athletics Championships earlier this month, and recently completed her 2020 season with her first Diamond League competition in Doha. Noted by the British Athletics Writers' Association as the Young Female Athlete of 2019, Hunt is gearing up to start her English degree at Cambridge University next month, before starting her winter athletics training in a bid to compete at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, which were postponed due to the coronavirus this year.
